The place of Zen opening to the world

Soto Zen Buddhism Sojiji Head monastery was relocated to Tsurumigaoka in 1911 from Noto, Ishikawa prefecture. Since then, several structures have been built in an enormous area of about 330,000 square meters.

We continue our relationship with the public by opening to the world in the spirit of Zen, also as a temple for all citizens and as a cultural center.
