今月の精進料理

The founder of Soto Zen Buddhism Dogen Zenji laid the foundation for Shōjin Ryōri. At Sojiji, monks make meals. Making meals and eating meals have the same training value as Zazen and Samu (cleaning). Everything on earth has a life, plants have it as well, therefore we appreciate and are conscious of receiving life while cooking and eating.
